With an eye towards modernizing the digital mortgage process, Scotiabank has launched a new online service called eHOME.
Scotiabank customers can use eHOME to apply for a mortgage online, track their application status through real-time updates, and complete the closing with a lawyer without requiring an in-person appointment with a mortgage specialist or financial advisor. Users will be able to upload supporting documents to a secure online vault and access a dedicated team of specialists by phone.
