Recruiting mortgage brokers and agents throughout Eastern Canada, she doubled Verico sales in 2017 by bringing more than 26 new firms into the network. In 2018, Cook recruited an additional 19 firms. These additions brought more than $2.5 billion into Verico in less than four years.
Cook is a self-proclaimed “results-driven” sales professional with more than 17 years of experience in the financial services industry.
“Barbara’s knowledge and experience in lending, training, and brokerage operations will contribute to the growth and professionalism of MCC. Barbara brings fresh ideas and a perspective that will positively enhance our business for the future,” said MCC President Rich Spence.
In Cook’s new role at MCC, her focus will be to build and maintain key relationships with existing, new, and potential mortgage professionals, as well as help to improve the services that MCC offers to enable the growth of their network. Cook, who takes a consultative, informative approach to sales, fulfils MCCs search for professionals to bring frech perspectives and ideas to their network.
