“I liked the challenge that comes with the mortgage business: high competition, constant demand for learning and improving current knowledge, and constantly developing and mastering analytical skills,” she says.
Shcherbatykh’s pursuit of excellence in the industry makes her well placed to comment on legislative changes in the industry – which, in her opinion, aren’t a positive development. “Ongoing consideration of changing the minimum down payment to 10%, in my opinion, will not serve the purpose of proper selection of the candidates, but rather make it less possible for many first-time homebuyers to own their first home.”
