Billie Burke gets to spend every day working side-by-side with her daughter, Kendra, adding to the joy she has every morning when arriving at work. “We come to the office each morning feeling like we are living a dream,” Burke says. “We get to enjoy work that feels more like a hobby.”
Beginning her mortgage journey back in 2002, Burke started working as a personal banker for a local CIBC branch. “The teary-eyed smiles on people’s faces when I said, ‘You’re approved’ was my motivator to do this full-time,” she says. Now with DLC, Burke says she feels blessed to be part of a team that supports her dreams, as well as her clients, every day.
