CMP: What can lenders do to help brokers achieve even higher volume?
Varun Chaudhry: Try to come up with some good, innovative lending products and understand what a mortgage broker is looking to achieve. Sometimes I have seen one lender being stubborn while another lender would look at the deal. In the meantime, a broker could lose the deal and client’s confidence. Also, as brokers, we are still lacking good rental products, which seem to be going away from the broker channel.
