Dalia Barsoum and the Streetwise Mortgages team experienced many milestones and achievements over the past 12 months, including winning the award for Outstanding Customer Service at the 2018 Canadian Mortgage Awards. Barsoum was also named one of CMP’s 2018 Women of Influence and Top 75 Brokers.
“Every year brings new opportunities for growth,” Barsoum says, adding that her team managed to not only weather the storm of change, but also effectively guided clients to adopt the best financing strategies and tactics to help them adjust to the new environment.
Beyond her work at Streetwise, Barsoum has taken on the role of chair for the board of Property Investment Professionals of Canada [PIPCA], a new not-for-profit association formed by industry practitioners to represent and raise the professional standards of those involved in property investment. Barsoum has played a pivotal role in the establishment of the association in Canada and continues to guide its direction by working with various industry practitioners to further its goals.
