Although York University professor Moshe Milevsky still believes variable rate mortgages save customers money in the long run - something that his well-known 2001 study showed - he said current market conditions means there is more risk involved in these types of products.

    We wrote sometime ago RE: The Pipfalls of Title Insurance with respect to future market values when potential buyers become aware of possible title problems.

    We propose that lenders and/or solictors be required to fix all problems on title legally,then title insurance can enhance the process.
