    What is disgraceful and bordering on criminal is the lack of transparency with respect to the billions of revenue CMHC garnered during the real estate growth period. You cant actually find out how much they earned. How much was it and where did it go? . Furthermore, as the market begins to soften, or the DOF's objective is to soften, and now after garnering massive revenues off the back of the RE market, they want to pull back? Sure, fine, but where do we think they are going to make up this revenue with the growing deficient? Yes, our tax dollars. This lack of transparency and blaming the lenders for stimulating the market is criminal. The unintended consequences of this reaction are not going to be insignificant to the Canadian
