Profit names broker networks to Hot 50 list

Both Dominion Lending Centres and have made it onto Profit magazine's 10th annual Hot 50 list, which ranks Canadian startup companies based on two-year revenue growth.

DLC ranked 23rd on the list, with a 485 per cent revenue growth rate from 2006 to 2008 and revenue of $10,294,811 last year. Gary Mauris, the brokerage's president, said DLC's efforts to market directly to consumers through a $1 million-plus national TV advertising campaign have helped contribute to its success.

"It is our goal to be the brand that consumers turn to for all their home financing needs," said Mauris

After taking first place on last year's Hot 50 list with a growth rate of 3,993 per cent, placed at number 27 on this year's list with a growth rate of 293 per cent and revenue of $15,802,861 in 2008.

    I'd like to know what the net profit was for these two company. I personally like DLC but work for another brokerage. Maybe one day.
