Poll: Which lender feature is the most important?

CMP’s annual Brokers on Lenders issue has been written, packed and sent to our subscribers. Some old favourites continued to reign supreme in various categories and some new faces have blazed an impressive trail.

Hundreds of brokers have already ranked their lenders but it’s time to see what the most important aspects of a lender are to the average broker.
In the ever-tightening lending landscape, will it be underwriter support?

Perhaps it will be product range. After all, having the ability to find a suitable mortgage for your clients is easier with a wealth of options to choose from.

    Service is #1, 2 and 3, because if a lender offers the best product but it takes weeks to approve or the post funding services creates headaches for our clients then we will look elsewhere.

    We look for 24 hour response on commitments and 24 to 48 hours for documents and an underwriter who responds if you email in the morning, same day.
