Lethbridge woman charged for $3-mil fraud

Police charged a Lethbridge, Alta. woman in connection with mortgage frauds totalling nearly $3 million.
 
The regional police didn’t disclose any details, only saying the case involves multiple victims and more charges are likely as the investigation continues.
 
Adina Harms, 43, was charged with eight counts of fraud over $5,000, eight counts of using a forged document and one count of possession of stolen property over $5,000.
 
Harms is in custody pending a court appearance.

    She used to be my landlord and ripped me off $500 from my damage deposit! I thought that was bad... I also had to serve her at a local restaurant a few times. For being an illegal millionaire she sure did leave a crappy tip!

    I hope they keep investigating. . . Hopefully our justice system will give her some good time for all the people she has hurt.
