D+H continues to investigate the root causes of intermittent outages to its Expert platform that delayed submissions and frustrated brokers across the country this week.
"We have been working through the night to ensure the performance of the environment meets the expecations of our partners," Chris Pornaras, VP of Lending Solutions for D+H told MortgageBrokerNews.ca Thursday. "We are investigating the root causes (for the intermitttent outages) but our focus is on stabilizing the environment."
The comments come after a day of fits and starts for brokers using Expert to submit applications. The bulk of those problems, as outlined by D+H in a tweet Wednesday, were ISP provider related, although the problems leading to minor interruptions earlier in the week are still under investigation.
Brokers took to Twitter and other social media Wednesday to share their frustration, but also to look for the kind of updates D+H was quick to provide.
Still, the challenges are a concern, said one brokerage exec.
"I spoke with some of our Ontario brokers today, and their frustration is evident," Glenn May Anderson, director of franchise and broker development at Dominion Lending Centres told MortgageBrokerNews.ca. "Many had to cancel client meetings, and there is a risk of losing deals if these Expert issues aren't resolved, and soon."
