'Expert Mobile' coming soon to a CAAMP forum near you!

D+H will use this month’s CAAMP forum to showcase “Expert Mobile” – a tool it has designed to give brokers smartphone access to client apps in the pipeline.

“It is coming soon, and we’re very excited about the release and the opportunity to show it to brokers at the forum,” Jerry Lo, D+H’s newly appointed senior director of Broker Services told MortgageBrokerNews.ca.

Expert Mobile 1.0 -- compatible with Blackberry, iPhone and Android technology -- was created to meet the needs of brokers who view staying connected to client files as essential in today's hyper-competitive market.

It’s with those tiny screens in mind that Expert Mobile reformats the Expert interface brokers currently access on their office computers and laptops. That resizing, among other key features, will allow brokers to better monitor the progress of applications.

“Really, our emphasis is on presenting our clients -- mortgage brokers and agents -- with a simple yet efficient way to check the status on their mortgage transactions, lender communications and stay connected to their customers,” said Lo, with D+H/Filogix for a decade. “The expectation is that Expert Mobile 1.0 will help them increase productivity.”

It will also include a “prospect application” that allows mortgage professionals to submit quick customer leads through their smartphones directly to the D+H Expert Mortgage Origination system.
Expert Mobile is being billed as a complement to the Expert system.

The company has moved this year to better serve brokers with other key technological upgrades, including its Expert 2.13 and Expert 2.14.

With the first of those two, Expert adds Saskatchewan disclosure forms to its Forms screen, and updates B.C. Form 9, the Alberta disclosure form and the Quebec Exclusive Contract and Letter of Direction. It also transforms the way email notifications for approvals and declines are delivered to Expert agents.

Key features of Expert 2.14 include applicant email address enhancements, meant to aid the collection of contact info. New Brunswick brokers also get an updated disclosure statement.

Broker news forum is the place for positive industry interaction and welcomes your professional and informed opinion.
