Decision to join brokerage comes down to reputation and integrity

For many mortgage brokers looking to find greener pastures, or simply looking to try a new challenge in life, it isn’t always about money – as was the case for one broker.'

Mortgage Architects recently announced the appointment of Lloyd Ackerman as a Lead Planner in Edmonton, Alta., with Ackerman citing “reputation, integrity, quality standards and training” as key reasons for joining Mortgage Architects.

“Quality standards, training and large base of quality lenders that reflect the Mortgage Architects values is important to me going forward,” says Ackerman. “Mortgage Architects offers me all these things.”

Ackerman’s most recent affiliation was with Homes Loans Canada.

“My choice to join Mortgage Architects was simple. I was looking for a brokerage that has a good reputation in the mortgage industry and maintains high integrity for the people that participate in the group,” says Ackerman. “Quality standards, training and large base of quality lenders that reflect the Mortgage Architects values is important to me going forward. Ackerman is a seasoned professional with an impressive 43 years of mortgage lending/financial industry experience, the past 11 years which were in the capacity of mortgage specialist, says Meinhard Ickert, vice-president, Western Canada, for Mortgage Architects.
