Avison Young expands to Bucharest

Commercial real estate consultancy exhibits continued growth and strength

Avison Young expands to Bucharest
In its latest expansion attesting to its continued growth and strength, Avison Young has opened its first location in the GlobalWorth Plaza in Bucharest, Romania.

The announcement marked the newest addition to the commercial real estate consultancy’s European operations, which service multi-market transactions in the continent.

“We believe that Bucharest is an underserved market, offering great potential for increased local, national and international investment. Bucharest, which has a young, educated workforce, is a gateway to Eastern and Central Europe and aligns well with our other European operations. The new Bucharest office will also enhance our ability to facilitate multimarket transactions on both sides of the Atlantic,” Avison Young chair and CEO Mark E. Rose said.

The Bucharest office will be managed and led by David Canta, who previously worked with CBRE Romania and served as associate director / co-founder of the Bucharest-based firm Momentum Consulting.

At present, Avison Young covers 80 offices and over 2,400 real estate professionals in North America and Europe.
