It’s time once again to start thinking about who you’d like to see recognized for their outstanding efforts in the mortgage industry and what better way to do so than to nominate them for a Canadian Mortgage Award?
The awards will take place on May 22, 2015 at the Liberty Grand in Toronto. Click here to make your nominations. Make sure to book your table as well.
This year will see two new categories added to the fold – Best Marketing Effort (which will replace the Best Advertising and Best Branding Categories) as well as a brand new prize that will be awarded to the Diversifier of the year.
Diversifier of the Year
A brand new category for 2015, this award goes to the brokerage (regardless of size) that has been most success in expanding its business model beyond mortgage originations, to incorporate services such as insurance, syndicate mortgage referrals, real estate sales, financial planning, etc, and in the process has created synergies for the operation as a whole. The category will consider nominations from brokerages that have implemented such plans, effectively broadening existing revenue streams and leveraging the success of an existing book of mortgage clients.
Judges will consider submitted collateral explaining the business model, brokerage strategy, revenue growth 2014 post-diversification, client testimonials, etc.
Of course, there are dozens of other categories, so there is something for every mortgage professional to vote on.
