Canadian investors putting their money south of the border Lower prices and higher returns are attracting an increasing amount of Canadian real estate investors to the US. A report by Avison Young shows that the commercial sector has seen a 79 per cent increase in the first half of this year to $5.4 billion while private investors have put $801 million into US homes.
