Mortgage brokerages from all across the county will be battling it out for the title of Mortgage Brokerage of the Year, as two more categories for the 2011 Canadian Mortgage Awards were released today.
A total of 16 brokerages from Nova Scotia to British Columbia were named finalists in the ICICI Bank Brokerage of the Year (more than 25 employees) and ING Direct Bank Brokerage of the Year (less than 25 employees) categories.
Leading the way with four nominations is Verico Financial, followed closely by Dominion Lending Centres with three nominations. The Mortgage Centre Canada is nominated twice.
“These brokerages represent the best of the best of what our industry has to offer,” said CMP Editor John Tenpenny. “I know the judges will have some tough decisions to make, but this really is a case of it being an honour to be nominated with the company they’re keeping.”
