Who’s afraid of the Parti Quebecois? Certainly not Dominion Lending Centres. In fact, while speculation abounds that the PQ triumph could be bad for business, the broker network is projecting growth for its relatively new operation in the province.

Why is this news? Other, more established broker networks in Quebec could comment / provide insight.

CENTUM has been in Quebec for over a decade, and our franchises have not expressed any concerns about this political change. All of them have experienced political change to varying degrees, but in the end mortgage lending is mortgage lending. Quebec has always been a unique marketplace, but one that has brought great value to our national network of offices. We look forward to CENTUM continuing to have success in the province for many decades to come.

AH... not surprised by this at all... another fluff piece for DLC in mortgage broker news that has little to no value at all to our industry. This is not news, not unbiased, and of no value at all.

Started in Quebec nine months ago with a single franchise, six mortgage professionals and $90 million in funded volume
Today, six franchise offices and 50 brokers contributing $700 million in volume.
15 more broker reps from various local banks wanting to join

Little value...not news, no value at al?

Sheessse, there is a biased statement if ever I heard one.
