Mortgage professionals say FSCO should allow a larger number of institutions to provide broker education in Ontario to ensure that learners have a wider range of choice.

I used to give training courses for newer mortgage brokers all across Canada (2005-2008). Practical, real-life training for the job of being a mortgage broker. This is what I learned while I was teaching/training: (1) newer brokers want training, but they don't want to pay for it. (2) The companies employing/licensing newer brokers don't want to pay for their training. These are the main reasons I gave up on promoting/offering practical training in the mortgage industry. As much as I love training & teaching, I simply can't work for free.
